I went for a swim today. It was the first time I'd jumped in a pool in a while.
Now, I'm not out of shape, not by any means, but wow, swimming really wears you out fast. I was surprsied to find myself getting tired after about 600 yards or so, a big drop since High School.
I did summer swimming for about eight years before I entered High School, in addition to my freshman year. I dropped it after the first season though, as I decided being a three sport athelete was a little tiring.
Still, it felt good to be back in the pool again.
